The Burgundy Cross (fr. Croix de Bourgogne), also known as the cross of blades - used in heraldry a variety of the cross of St. Andrew. The Burgundy Cross first appeared around 1408 on the banners of the Duke of Burgundy, who fought on the side of the English during the Hundred Years' War.
